Removing Notification of Windows Genuine Advantage Tool Update

Are you tired of getting those annoying notifications of windows genuine advantage updates? Well a lot of people are, after all you know your copy is genuine so why should you have to go through this all the time right? How to stop getting certain kinds of updates, like the windows genuine advantage tool updates. Well I will show you, an easy way to stop getting those annoying update pop ups. The next time you see the yellow windows update icon, down in the lower right of your screen, left click on it so it opens. When the windows update pops up, un check the box next to don't notify me about these updates again then close the window. From now on when you get windows update notifications, the windows genuine advantage updates will not be included. You should not have to prove over and over again that your windows is genuine. Now if we could just get rid of that xp or vista loading bar? |
