There are a lot of file sharing sites that contain illegal software, which can be dangerous to use and install. The software from these sites, can be filled with Trojans and worms. Most all of these need a key generator, but this is usually the item you get hit with their virus or payload when you install it. There are many legal legit sites, that offer almost any
type of download. Please do not use cracked software, its unsafe and just not right. The choice you have with legal software for content
is great. There is donateware,shareware,open source,and freeware. Lets compare some paid versions and some free alternatives:
Paint Shop Pro- A great Graphics Program that costs about $100 Or - Gimp- A great Graphics Program For Free that is open source. Nero 9 - A great CD/DVD burning suite about $100- Or cdburnerxp 4.2.3 great CD/DVD data and audio burning application a freeware choice. DVD Flick - A free open source software to burn and convert your videos. This is a fantastic application to do videos, I
use this one quite a bit. Diskeeper- A very good hard drive defragmenting program cost $29.95 for home edition - Auslogics Diskdefrag -
a great free hard drive defragmenter. Microsoft - Office 2007 - A good office suite that costs for the pro version $200 the cheapest price I found Or -
Open Office 3 - A great Free Office Suite that is open
source. This list could go on and on, do a search on freeware, Open Source Software and check out the free sections at download.com and majorgeeks.com |
